ZZP's PCM is honestly pretty damn good! You'll get noticeably better shifting and a bit more top end power.

Your best bet would be to find someone in your area with HP Tuners and do a custom tune. If you can't do that then go with ZZPs, I haven't heard anything good about Intense's canned tune

Yeah, the best is always going to be a tune specifically for your car on a dyno. You can't really get any better than that. But otherwise, ZZP is what I would recommend.

I got a guy that charges $40 an hour plus there is something like an $80 one-time licencing fee for the HP tuners. I feel a street tune (or strip tune) is better then a dyno tune, but I guess that depends on what your after

I think a canned tune like the ZZP 1.0 is more than adequate for a stockish, N/A L36. I just don't see the need for a custom tune in this case...sure, it's better, but by how much? 2 WHP?

Good call. I guess in this case I would wait to get a PCM unless you're not going to do much at all. But who really does that?

I got a PCM from Overkill. It seems to be working good for me. I don;t have any crazy mods on it, just CAI. He was a little slow, but he did get it to me, and did refund my core charge.

I chose Overkill because his was the only one I found that specifically stated that his tune was for regular gas. The others said regular would be ok, but recommended mid-grade. There's a link in my sig to Overkill.
