I use synthetic, how about you guys?

 

i used full synthetic but i think imma go back to part synthetic

 

Ive used conventional since Day 1...
every 3 months 3000 miles religiously...
Since I picked it up New at the Dealer in 1998.

it all depends on how you drive it. if you have a heavy foot or are modding your car then full synth is the way to go.

for cars over 75,000 miles a high mileage synth blend is perfect.

if you are consistent at changing the oil every 3k or 2 months then conventional will work but a blend will still be better.


I currently run a high mileage oil but when i install the SC topswap i plan to change over to a full synth oil.

 

I've used nothing but Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic oil since my first oil change at 999 miles (I remember that because it was so close to 1K on the dot).

My Monte now has 178K+ on it and runs like it did the day I drove it off the lot.

Synthetic in the crankcase, transaxle & brake system.
