Default Serp belt and tensioner

Anyone have to replace this yet on a sixth gen and at what mileage is it suggested you change them...

i replace them about every 30,000 wheather it needs it or not

That would explain my problem, maybe.


I've noticed an odd noise lately after long highway runs or running at high throttle with the A/C on...


I am about 20K past the 30K mark..... oops...

might be the ac clutch im a 45,000 and im having trouble out of the ac when its making the noise turn off the ac and see if the noise quits

It seems like it makes the noise only when the A/C is on. Or it's more noticeable when the A/C is on.


I am going to change the belt this weekend to see if it helps.
