What is a good oil filter? I was going to just use AC Delco since it is OEM. But if there is something better out there then I will take this one back and go get another.

Pretty much any off-the-shelf brand filter should do. Fram and AC Delco are two popular ones.

I favor BOSCH oil filters. The reason for this is I ran just about any brand oil filter on my 84 Camaro. IMO (no study behind this, just observation), I believe the oil looked like it was cleaner when it came out of the car each time I used a BOSCH filter. So a greater majority, I try to stick to BOSCH oil filters.

I use BOSCH filters myself, too. Some people like Wix filters but for 12 bucks a piece Ill pass. Especially because I change them every 3k miles anyways. Fram filters on the other hand are cardboard s**t - I wouldn't recommend them.

I just switched over to synthetic a few weeks ago and I am almost at 170K miles now. I have not had a leak and I've almost driven 600 miles with synthetic in it. I have always used the NAPA Gold filters with conventional oil and I just put in a NAPA Platinum filter with my synthetic.
