Hi Dan, Thanks for your post....Good Find....
Monte Carlo 106 per Million
Ford Mustang 150 per Million
[hr]
I think the 106 was because the majority of the Monte's 01-04, did not have
side air bags : (
I still like the odds, but the information is another wake up to drive smarter and
safer... Thanks for sharing..
Peace Out,
`space

study seems to have serious flaws, in large 4door cars the buick regal scored a 57 while the century gets a 118. a 2door blazer gets a 232 but the 4 only gets 123. and the F-250 and 350 are 2x as deadly if theyre 4wd rather than 2wd. finally.... the astro wins? 7? what?

The test does have flaws and admits some such as driving age and use of the vehicle. Lets face it more soccer moms will own a 4 door Blazer than a 2 door. I see alot of 2 door Blazers doing dumb stuff in the are as well like driving on a riverbank parallel to the river, all young drivers as well. I don't see 4 door... well anything doing that. Jeeps are also in the dumb stuff catagory. I would imagine the same thing is true of the 4 wheel drive Fords. When pulling things I could see more snapped chains and ropes killing the driver among other things. Also I see alot of 4 wheel drive vehicles speeding when the snow comes down and ending up in the ditch or crashing into a bridge embankment.

I'm NOT saying this is the case for all, just general observation from what I see. The van group will do less dangerous things than other groups will.
