A programmer will not do what you need; If you want to tune it, you will need a DHP or an HP tuner setup so you can read and write to your PCM. be prepared to spend MANY hours learning about tuning if you want to do it on your own... If you are not planning on doing any other mods, then ordering a PCM would probably be best.

I sent my pcm in and got it programmed. Now it won't start unless I shoot a lil carb cleaner in it. I pulled the fuel return line and when I turn the key on fuel pumps out from the fuel rail. Is the fuel pressure regulator bad? Has anyone else had this issue.

once the rail is pressurized it will return excess fuel I believe.... install a fuel pressure gauge and see what kind of pressure you have at the rail.... does it stay running once the initial shot of carb cleaner or does it start on the carb cleaner and then die.....

also, before starting, turn your key to the on position for about 3 - 5 seconds before cranking over. Then attempt to start; does the car fire any, / sputter, or just crank over?

After it starts it will stay running, I put a couple hundred miles on it since I got the pcm back. I've tried to waiting with key on and even cycled they on and off a few times to pressure up the rail. I thought the car would run a lot stronger with the motor swap but to me its not much faster. I did notice the sc pulley is a lil bigger than 4 inches. After I figure out way it won't start under its own fuel ill get a smaller pulley.

It don't hit a lick without some help. Its like its not getting any fuel or fire at all. It has to be a fuel delivery problem since it will start and and stay runnin after some cleaner. It don't take hardly any. All I have to do is pull a vacuum line off the throttle body and give it a quick squirt then it fires up.I'm still leaning towards a a pressure regulator but its a 80 dollar part on a "maybe".
