Random LOUD supercharger whine??
so i just got home from cruisin around a little bit and its been raining all day. while i was out i thought id just turn the traction control off and spin the tires real quick. (thats always fun). then i was making a turn and then i did it again. (this is was in an empty parking lot no worries.. lol) but then the Supercharger i guess woke up and was making this really loud Whine. it would do this only when i would accelerate.. dont get me wrong it sounded completely awesome. but i thought it worried me a little so i stopped. so i turned the traction control back on and started to drive home and which it gradually went away..
can someone explain what happened?

Check for any leaks, check your intake tube - putting an aftermarket intake on a supercharged car really makes the blower louder, perhaps you have a leak somewhere?
Perhaps it was colder outside than normal, colder weather = more boost
hmm thanks for all your help guys. im going to check the intake again tomorrow
EDIT: Oh! and i forgot to mention it was still making some kind of squeek in the steering wheel while this was happening. once it went away the squeek went away. idk how these two can be related in the slightest bit but who knows. ill just take it easy for awhile on it.

If you think you're going to make a habit of doing donuts or flying around parking lots like that, go ahead and flush/fill your power steering pump and make sure it's filled to the right capacity. It should reduce this from occurring as much.
It wasn't your supercharger making noise, it was your power steering pump. This is a common L67 thing- when turning hard, the pump temporarily starves and gets LOUD. It gradually goes away.
