7th Gen ('06-'07): Performance build thread
I agree with monte07, it's gonna be tough to modify the 3.5 to male decent power as no vendors pushed a lot of parts for them. Good luck man I hope you find a way to hit your goal but I have no place to tell you to look for parts. Probably going to have to custom fabricate and custom port stuff is my guess.
I agree with monte07 an turbo monte , Hard to find Speed parts for 3.5
will be custom fabricate .. Just save you $$ so when you do build you have the $$$ to finsh the build an don't have to park you Monte for along time. I know because I have a 1946 Chevy I don't have the $$ to finsh it's be 8 years ..

I know when my water pump went bad also the head gaskets.
when I had the heads off and sent to a machine shop I asked them to do a port and polish on the heads and port the intake.
it helped some but with out a cam and every thing to corispond to the port and polish there was not much of a bonus.
I just love the body of our 6th and 7th gen.
It is a little of a downer for the 3.5 v6 do to the limitations of the aftermarket for the engine.
