Hey guys I found this site for performace upgrades for montes and just wanted to know everyones thoughts on these cheap power adders. CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO GF Peformance Chip

Im going to assume your a 5th-7th gen monte. Chips are NOT for our cars. They could very likely fry your pcm.

Do a tune instead overkill or Diablew

I believe the chips just fool your pcm in to dumping more gas through, kind of like opening the choke a little bit, but I could be mistaken about the actuallity of that statement but you get the point. Your best bet is a pcm tune, I had mine done by Will at Overkill and am extremely happy with the results
