Default Pcm tuning?

What is the best way to go about getting a PCM tuned for 2007 Monte Carlo LT, or is the "chip" the better way to go?

I would join various forums that specialize in tuning (such as the HPTuners forum, or GM tuning sites) and see if anyone in your area can tune you.

I would NOT go a chip.

Or you can learn how to do your own tuning and buy all the software (more expensive)

Or you can find a shop that can dyno tune you.
