Default Pcm/ecm

I have a 2004 Monte 3.4 engine. I just had the transmission replaced. Ever since then I have been having an electrical issue. While driving all of my gauges shut down and the car makes this scrapping sound. I don't lose any power and the gauges go right back to normal. Is this an indication of the PCM or the ECM going out. If its the PCM could the transmission shop have put the wrong transmission in the car?

Sounds more like a BCM issue (body control module)

But it could be the PCM failing

If it was the wrong transmission, your car would shift HORRIBLY.

Check all your grounds.
