Default Overkilled PCM questions

Hey guys just ordered the Overkill PCM for my 2003 Monte Carlo LS 3400, couple questions first. Will I have to do the crank relearn process for sure? and is the car still driveable until I get the crank relearn process done? Also will I be required to run premium gas or can I still run regular? And will I have to get the tune changed if I add an intake and downpipe after spring? Lastly does anyone have the Overkill Tune on their 3400's? and if so how do you like them? Get me excited to get the PCM! hahah
thanks boys

on the 3400s the biggest thing in the tune will be the transmission support . I would email Will and ask him for the specifics.

Unless you requested him to tune for 91 octane, his tune is tuned for 87 octane. You more than likely will need a crank relearn, but the car will still be driveable until you get it done.

As for the intake and down pipe, I don't think you'll need a whole new tune. He does ask for those mods to tweak the tuen more specifically to what your car has, but its not going to make or break your tune. The PCM will adjust on its own already to some degree once these mods are installed...You may ask will his opinion, but I doubt its really all that critical.

will's tunes are for 87 off the bat unless requested otherwise.

like michael said, the crank relearn is more than likely going to have to happen (not difficult to do)

for an intake the computer will adjust itself for the larger amount of incoming air.

after the downpipe you won't need to get it tuned again but I do advise you get it canned again for the most out of your mods if you go any further
