WOW I DONT KNOW BECAUSE I NEVER LOOKED AT IT , I HOPE HE DIDNT PUT IT UPSIDE DOWN MAN I WOULD BE VERY ANGRY IF IT IS I NEED TO GET THAT CHECKED OUT NOW THAT YOU MENTIONED IT....

cool and let know what you find mine was doing the same thing last year and I had my system pressure flushed and they got out allot of gunk that would flow through that system and occasionally block the thermostat and it would drive me nuts!! because it was there some times and gone other

From my recent Grand Prix experience, not possible to do. I checked for that (and while the housing was apart, flipped it upside down, can't put the housing back together).

no its not upside down i just had it check , and sometime this week im going to have the whole system fully pressure wash out to see if that will help , thank you for your help guys....

Sometimes it's something as trivial as the radiator cap gasket being bad and not letting the pressure build up. Here is link on over heating issues I found to be a good read.

He's not been online in 9 years at this point. IMO youre better off opening a new thread, posting what issues you're having, the history of the vehicle, and what you've tried already.
