God you grammar **** I didnt know I was in a Ford Forum:p Just kidding yea but when I used the word NOS I actually meant NOS as in the company, not nitrous oxide.

Not to mention, if you ever decide to sell the parts off- there will always be a market with the 3800's for top swap parts, so it would be easy to sell later as well. Maybe not as universal as nitrous, but you could still sell it on clubgp in under a week if you price it correctly.
I did not know this thanks a lot for that

I dont necessarily have time for it, but I dont have time to do it myself. The people who would do it however are the same people who thru in my camaro engine, and they did an excellent job, all for $300 in a few days.

Buy a cheap Compucar universal dry kit from eBay. I got mine for $279 if I recall correctly. Spray pre-MAF. Make sure you retard you're timing roughly 2* for every 50hp you're spray (so, if you smack it with a 100 shot, you'll want to retard 4* of timing). You're MAF will read in the incoming nitrous and adjust fuel accordingly. You will need colder spark plugs gapped a bit tighter- Autolite 605s or 104s will do you fine, gapped between .045-.050 (since you're not supercharged. 'Charged cars would want colder plugs with a tighter gap).

Probably a good idea to at least get a scan gauge if you're going to do this and monitor KR- you don't want to knock on a 100 shot.

It's cheap enough to be fun for awhile, and if you do top swap it eventually, even a little 25 shot will make it run effing hard. Nitrous and roots blowers go together like peanut butter and jelly, or pizza and beer.
Cool thanks for the info

So bumpin lemme ask you, since everyone says the l36 is a better motor as a whole, and I buy that L67, what could I strip off of the L67 and place into mine??

When I asked about any engine internals or swaps, well over 1500. Even a cam they were talking about 1600 in labor alone and "theyll see" from there.
Why is a total, semi-custom engine/trans swap $300, and a cam install is $1600 in labor... something isn't right there.

I wouldn't say the L36 is better; it just depends what you want to do with it. Big boost turbo, or larger SC- an L67 would be better for lower compression. Max effort M90 build would be better with the L36's higher compression.

If you're thinking about doing a top swap from the L67 to put the blower on your L36- don't buy a whole L67. You can get just the top swap parts from various forums for much much cheaper than a whole engine.

Ahh, i see. NOS does seem to have some decent kits. There is always the concealable kits from like edelbrock and I think NE makes a 10 oz bottle. Its a tiny bottle and they claim at most 45HP but you dont need to slow your timing, but you're gonna need refills like crazy. Just throwing some more options out there, I know you probably dont wanna go with such a tiny shot..

Not the same ppl. The engine guys wont really do internals, or really any type of mod. They do swap the engine out though since Im buying it from them.

Yea thats the sneaky pete system. I think it doesnt really add much power though. Its mainly a hidden system to gain .1 or so second in the drags.

You're going to need to retard your timing accordingly no matter what shot size you run. The ads you're reading are geared towards old school carbed V8s, not you're knock-prone L36.
