Has anyone put a 50 shot or even a 75 shot of Nitrous on a 3.4? will this blow the motor?

 

Nitrous isn't worth it. I assume you have this car as a daily driver? When you use nitrous you'll have to tune your car to run slower and for the nitrous shot, so 99% of the time you aren't using nitrous you're car will be worse.

Just for that 1% that you do use it. And then you have to pay to fill the bottle each time.

You can do it, IDK if I would really go for a 75 shot, but it's completely doable, but just not worth it.

Unfortunately the 3.4 doesn't have much for it. I agree.

But there are things you can do, there are people that have pretty quick 3.4s you can't count it out. Unfortunately I have the 3.8 and can't help you much.

60degreev6.com is a great place for that engine and what you can do with it.

I think you can even do a top-swap on your engine for the 3.5 and gain a good amount of ponies.

Stick around and do some reading, there are things to do.

 

yeah i know this motor is a great daily driver but i wish i would have gotten the ss instead. thanks for your help

 

hey i use andysautosport.com, it has nice parts for the car. i look at the ss and try and get parts that can go on an ss and put it on my ls. go to the auto part stores and they can help you. ask around and the people here and around the part store will have stuff. that is what i am doing. i also went down to the local dealer, and they pointed me toward some sites, i am trying to remember them. but it is some parts for our cars, but not many. i try to co-in-mix.
