I change my trans fluid ever 100K miles (pan drop and filter change), stuff in the very very bottom of the pan usually looks close to that. it has a red trans fluid mixed with very fine particles.....

Here's my 89k mile trans that i got yesterday lol :P

Looks MUCH cleaner than my old one when I pulled it off

Pretty clean here too, and no debris on the pan (thank goodness) lol just on the little magnet. I would get a pic but the Pan is full of water now since it rained yesterday haha
I put in the new solenoids in this pic and was swapping over the harness... The one on this one was cracked on the plug connector

I also decided to spray it with Bedliner spray haha, it actually turned out pretty well even though it was really humid outside
I'll post pics later too

Clean pan next to dirty pan I picked up from dirt
I was considering buying an aluminum finned one but after I found them, the price scared me lol
It would really help a lot when draining the fluid though cus of the drain plug but It's not like the fluid has to be changed as often as motor oil lol
Probably does help with cooling too

I got to bolt it on the motor before I left for work earlier so I'll try to have it in the car tomorrow and ready to drive by monday then i'll see how it runs!! haha

Anyways here's the coat of bed liner on it

`Frank, I can relate, we sure have been getting hit hard with rain & severe storms. It's depressing & I've thought of you & your Monte & your frustrations try'in 2 get it all back 2gether.
Maybe the rain is just the `Angels cry'in 4 U & your Monte & everything you have endured to get your Monte back on the Road.
I shall keep you in my prayers & also pray 4 SunShine..It suppose to get cooler & better by this Tuesday Good Luck 4-Sure

So i just realized something.... when i wiped down my old trans pan i forgot to place the magnet back on it and bolted it up already
didn't get anything done today cus of the rain so i'll remove the pan tomorrow and get the magnet back on.... and if it doesnt rain again i'll be able to put the motor in the car
