Default 2002 Monte Carlo SS

So from what I have read without getting into some big money to get more power do a cold air intake, bigger throttle body and a throttle body spacer, new exhaust ( from headers to tail pipe) and a bigger pulley? What pulley need be bigger? And I'm sorry not trying to sound dumb just trying to figure out cost vs durability what would be good brands to go with on these things. Also would adding a programmer do any difference?
