Default MAF sensor question

Hi MCF,
I have heard everyone say not to go with aftermarket electronics. Although I haven't personally had problems with aftermarket parts, I have even had problems with Electronics.
I don't want to go to the Dealership cause I know there prices are rediculous.
I need a Mas Air Sensor. The voice in the back of my head keeps saying Delfie, how ever you spell it, is the way to go. I don't always listen to that voice!
I have found many choices online, but I don't want to get one that is going to fail in a week.
My question is, Is AC Delco the only way to go or are there other manufacturers that are reliable and long lasting! I need to order one soon cause the old one is on it's last electronic leg.
I did the STUPID thing last fall and bought one online for $37. 2 months later I had to put the old one back in cause the Aftermarket, CHEEP one, failed. And Yes it hurt when I kicked myself in the Keaster for buying it!

I have had success buying used ones off eBay. The one I'm currently running is a stock one, but used and it's been going strong for 2 years.

Heres what i figure. The OEM one lasted as long as it did. I figure an aftermarket one will last half as long.

Also did you try cleaning it? Cleaning mine cleared my code. I also noticed mine kepy getting dirty because my TB was disgusting. The buildup stopped when i cleaned it out.

I did my TB in the beginning of April. But I will chaeck it. The MAS was 167000 miles old when I replaced it. I think it was bad then. When I unplug it and plug it back in the code goes away and the car runs right. If a used/rebuilt one will work then I'll lock for one on EBay during lunch. While I'm waiting for it to be delivered I'll clean the old one again. The cam and knock sensors will then be the only old sensors left on the motor. I'll replace them by the end of the summer. But the Big Really Expensive computer said they are working fine for now.
