Does K&N make a cold air kit for the 2006 SS V8?

If so, will this void my warranty?

As far as the warrenty, I don't think it would do anything, but I would call the dealership to make sure before you do anything.

 

No it does not Void the warranty. The dealer could give you **** about it, just call GM customer service and complain see how vast they will change their story. or you could go to a different dealer.
I had no issues with service after putting the air charger.
A few of the techs went to look at it, and I was asked if I instaled it myself, then the tech said he uses K&N filters in all his cars and that was that.

I bought a K&N from Autoanything.com for $206 shiped to me. (Hope that helps you out)
I installed it about 1.5hrs. Then now when I start the car for about 40 seconds it sounds like it is sucking in alot of air (loud) then it calms down and goes back to normal. Anybody else get this condition. Is this normal?

Another question:

When I get one, where do I go to get it installed? I am in the St. Louis area, so if you aren't from here you can't give me an address of a shop, but will any shop install this? Is it easy to find a shop to do this or not.

 

It is a easy install with some hand tools. You will have it installed before you find someone to do it.
