Without physically seeing the car it's difficult to diagnose, but if any oil splashed onto the crank sensor this would cause the engine to shut down while driving. The 'BOOM' you heard may have been the result of a cylinder firing while the intake valve was open.

As far as the leaks go, that is something you'll need to inspect for and hopefully resolve.

The blaming your mods is a big red flag to me.I'd keep on them about every thing document everything they do.

I hope that everything gets fixed and is working fine when all done. Good luck with getting jack back to operating condition and things move smooth from there on.

thanks guys for all the support and well wishes for jack. i hope to be up and running soon, im currently stuck with ma girl nissan altima coupe, nothing round with it but its soo small and like i feel every bump with that thing

Lol at those mods causing your engine to blow. They'd crap there pants if they saw what some of us have done to our engines and we've been fine for years. I'd just buy the engine and swap it myself personally. It'll save about $1500. Another thing to look at with another engine is the oil pan gasket and the rear main seal before you do the install.
