You won't know what you support until you are monitoring KR and fueling

I agree you need a way to monitor for kr and fuel pressure drop etc. You didn't list and fuel mods (injectors, pump, etc) also plan on needing a belt wrap because on a 2.8 pulley you will belt slip bad. You can but a tuner like hpt and should be able to take care of the theft detergent stuff. Also if you went from a 3.2 to a 2.8 without a tune I see it being lean and knocking under wot for sure.

Why haven't you at least bought a scan gauge or something then? You've got a few grand in performance mods, but don't have a $200 aeroforce- that just seems silly.

You could also think about it like this- if you do run that pulley without scanning, you could chip a piston and trash the entire engine. Certainly a couple hundred more bucks on a way to monitor KR isn't that expensive in comparison...

We have to assume it, because we are all mentioning that you'll never know if you can run the 2.8 pulley without monitoring KR and Fueling.

If you have the Aeroforce, and can monitor, then you'll know very quickly if you can safely run that 2.8

Most likely it will lean you out though, so make sure you have a way to get the car tuned if that's the case.

I made that judgement because you're asking a bunch of random people on the internet if your mods can support a certain pulley size. We don't know anything about your tune, the general condition of your engine, mileage of the engine, or anything like that- so we would just have to guess based on similar setups.

If you have an aeroforce, a 2.8" pulley, and the right belt (which it sounds like you have all of them)- then you already have all of the data you need to make a much more accurate decision than our guesses. So that's why it seemed like you didn't have a way of obtaining the actual data yourself.

So my follow on question would be- do you know what you're looking for in the aeroforce data? (not trying to be rude- just asking an honest question) If you need help interpreting the data, we can certainly help- but you'll need to provide us with what kind of numbers you were seeing when you had the 2.8" on. If you need to know which parameters we need the data for, we can provide that information also- just feel free to ask.
