Default Intercooler

Alright, so thanks to EVERYONE's support on my last thread , Whipple vs. Turbo, I have gained enough knowledge in this area to be able to determine that I am going to go GenV M90. This question is a simple one:

I am looking at the ZZPerformance Intercooler for the M90 GenV, and am curious if clearance will be an issue for the hood? And Also, does anyone have any experience with this intercooler, or ANY for that matter?

http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...=234&catid=139

I ask about clearance because I am currently deployed, and don't have the ability to go outside and just take a measurement...

Thanks in advance for anyone that can give me a hand in this!

Not sure, but I am looking into this myself. I'm getting to the point I want to take out a small loan and put it on a 0% interest credit card.

Dan, by the looks of it, you might be able to get rid of your 3* KR with temps these low on your intake...

If I had the extra cash flow, I'd take that Tony Stewart junk off

haha, j/k wizkidd.

Im actually pretty confident that no one has experience with this type of intercooler, I may end up having to go over to the GP forum to see what they have to say...

It might, but I'm not sure. I know it would get rid of at least 1 degree and possibly 2. 3 would be pushing it, but I would praise the hell out of it if it did.

Just gotta do some extra stuff at work to get my money up and start buying.

Well, this winter can't come fast enough, because I am young, stupid, and have no bills. So all of my money is gonna be dumped into this beast. I am a picture taking kind of guy. So I will be sure to document my entire journey, along with my experiences. So maybe we can kick the DIY section up a notch. Not to mention I have a feeling I am going to be the guinea pig on this new intercooler on this forum. I sent an email to Zoomer, the same questions I asked here, and no response yet, however, I'm sure I'll get one soon enough.

Oh, and btw, I figured since WizKidd pulled some shananigans about my big E headrests, I would get him back . lol

And as far as the KR, I have a feeling that the cooler pressurized air going into your intake will reduce that significantly. Or at least we can all hope.
