IMO, don't get the gen 3- I've seen lots of pictures of cracked ones- stick with the all aluminum.
The new PRJ one does look really sweet, and probably will outperform the ZZP unit- however, I'm sure it will be pricey as well.

x2 on don't get the stage 3. save yourself some $$$ you don't need the whole kit just get the ic core, gaskets and longer supercharged bolts from any vendors you choose. i don't like zzp FMHE cuz it's too short and the fan is not able to blow on it. it will work, but i don't like the way it's design. hoses can be purchase at grainger or other hardware stores. the rest of the kits like pump, fmhe, fitting and hoses can be purchase at. www.frozenboost.com
their price is cheaper than zzp and everybody else. bosch pump is $120 where as zzp is like $175 i think??

well thanks for all the suggestions guys, getting the intercooler has been the most daunting task of anything in modifying my car lol
how about when it comes to air/air or water/air and such? which would you suggest?

x2 on the frozenboost IC- that thing rocks for the money!
Assuming you are still supercharged, you do not have a choice- it must be water/air.
(although there was an australian company that made a lower adaptor for an M90 to run an air/air- but who knows how much extra fab work that would be- not to mention all the extra tubing).

I don't think we can run an air to airon our cars unless you fab something up from what the guys down in Australia do on their Holdens, and not sure if they have the kits for the Gen V blower. All the kits from the vendors above are liquid to air. the PRJ is nice, I haven't seen a price on it though...the ZZP is a proven product, stay away from the short stack....if you go IC...go full size and I agree, stay away from the stage 3. I heard of crackingand leaking under the snout IIRC.

Air to air intercooling is a turbo thing. I've not seen one for a supercharger. We have a 600hp Garrett unit on our Solstice GXP. On an air to air, the turbo pushes air thru the intercooler and then thru the throttle body and into the engine. A supercharger intercooler sits in between the supercharger and manifold. TOTALLY different setup.
