with out tearing in the motor there is not much you can do
-under drive pully
-ecu reprogram
-cold air intake
-headers
-good exhaust system
it when you start tearing in them thet you can make power
ported heads and intakes bigger throttle body higher compression cam swap

Basic starter mods typically include:

-bigger downpipe (either 2.5" or 3")
-FWI/CAI
-drop in aftermarket pcm
-1.9:1 (or ER) rocker arms
-HV3 intake spacer (www.zzperformance.com)
-colder thermostat/plugs to match other mods
-headers (or pems/plog)

Thats about it for real easy bolt on parts. Once you get beyond that, you start dropping in $/hp gain- or the installs start getting much more difficult (ie heads/cam; boost). Do you ever plan to boost the car w/ a top swap or a turbo? That would also adjust which basic bolt ons you buy.
