Just wondering if anyone on here has put a Gen V M90 supercharger in their Monte. I have think I have all of the parts and a very good idea on how to do it but I want to know if anyone ran into any problems?

 

Am I really going to be the first one to try this on here?

 

Not much to it if you're just swapping out the blower and LIM.
There are a bunch of threads with tons of detailed information out there.

I'll be doing this to mine here next month. I've got all the hard parts. I might do a write-up, depends on how drunk I get during or how much of a PITA my car wants to be.

 

I'm assuming you guys are doing this on L67 Montes?

If so, you'll need:
- Gen V lower intake manifold
- Gen V blower
- Gen V throttle body adapter plate
- Tuning

I think that's about it...

 

I'm not. I'm pretty sure the OP isn't either(judging from his mod list in the sig). Personally, I'm top swapping and adding a Gen V and N* setup.

 

I'm doing it on a L36 that's why I am asking. I heard something about the Gen V snout hitting the alternator bracket IF you get an alternator bracket from a 97-98 L67 from a Grand Prix. My alternator bracket is from a 98 grand prix that's why I am asking lol. Actually my setup will be the same as Biggriggs but without the IC and a different pulley size.
