thats what i was saying i know the government gets there gas from our pokets. but the government have a biger stake in the flex fuel program do to they basicaly own gm and the massive fleet as well. if there is a problem with engins that are flex fuel that runs e85 all the time usa and the people that live in amarica will be more in debt that where it stands due to the warrenty gm puts out on there vehicles. that information is based off of the news of gm is owned by the government do to the refusal of reconstruction and forcing the hummer brand. that is based off of cnn wnbc and fox news gm wanted to continue on the heavy gas drinker non arow dinamik vehicles. have you noticed the gm trucks are redesined to be arow dinamic as well as there cars not all there vehicles were like that a year ago. exept the corvet and the cadilac version and the monty carlos those three were the only three other than the malibu and cobalt that replaced the cavilier. if the government looks at doge they know there sc#@wd 4 ways from sunday gm is the only longest running company besides ford thats why the government wants them to come back like there is no tomorrow. the government still thinks dodge is a baby company to ford and gm. hense the high stakes with gm and wanting them to come back stronger than ever

ok what did you just say i got nothing out of that except for the last couple lines about how dodge is younger than GM and Ford but yet dodge was infact founded before both as a parts company and began building cars in 1914 11 years after Ford and 6 after GM.....but either way the administration hasn't been alive before dodges creation showing that they hardly think that dodge isn't worth saving because they are younger......

I'm not trying to defend using it as a cheaper fuel (I think it about equals out with the lower gas mileage)- or being better for the environment. What I'm for is using it as a cheap race gas- around here 100 unleaded runs $6.50/gal; the stuff at the track is $8/gal (not sure what octane). E85 is like $2.25/gal and is just about as high of octane.
Yeah, this is a great way to use the system! I have read lots of articles from Super Chevy Magazine and Chevy High Performance Magazine about racers using E85 for this exact reason. There is even an article in there about how to convert a carb to run on E85. Apparently racers have had a great deal of success with this, according to these magazines. You can find these articles at www.chevyhiperformance.com and www.superchevy.com. Just type in "E85" in their search bars.
