yeah when i am cruising in 4th it surges every couple of seconds... now my tranny is all messed up. i start driving and i am going 15 at 5000 rpm then i just let it sit then i give it gas and it goes... not happy with the diablo programer.

yeah, I have it, and it works great... uploaded tunes to my pcm at least a dozen times now, no issues - as long as you can follow instructions, I don't see how you could fry your pcm.
the surge you're talking about is from the normal Diablo Tune, correct? that one does have a surge issue that you're experiencing - it's when the DOD kicks in and goes between 4cyl and 8cyl mode....
Use the "Diablo Tune - No DOD" performance tune, and the surge will be gone - as you'll always be in 8cyl mode.
You'll have to make sure you have the serial cable and power adapter - there's info on the download page... so go here to get all the stuff you want/need - it has all of the instructions and software for our units (U7191).

yeah you were lucky and for this (as long as you can follow instructions) this is my 3rd diablo I know how to install them and I did put in the diablo tune that was the first one I put in plus two more times as diablo tried to fix it. Plus all three are made for my car that should tell you something diablo said I would need to go to the shop and have a tune made for it for $150.00 or more when I already paid $400.00 for it. I was a test dummy

make sure the tune is out of the car before you update it or you will lock the tuner and have to call diablo to on lock it get there installer and download the right file from diablo the installer is easy to use it should go in nice
