I recently purchased a Diablo Sport Predator Tuner for my 2006 Monte SS and i am just wondering if anyone on here has one and what the best way to get the most out of the tuner is.

 

did you also buy the pc interface kit for it, i hope? that's the usb/serial cable and power adapter, so that you can connect it to your Windows PC in order to download recorded data logs, import/export tune files for custom tuning, and also to update it to the latest 9r03 revision.

First thing is to make sure the predator is up to date with the latest revision...

then:

if you use 91 octane gas in the car, install the 91 Octane No DOD tune...

if you use 93 octane gas in the car, install the Diablo Tune No DOD tune...

then put on about 100 miles - doesn't have to be all at once... just drive it normally over a few days...

then, do a steady cruising log to see where your LTFT's are at (long term fuel trims)...

to get the BEST/most performance gains from it, you can get a custom tune done for your predator/car by a diablosport CMR custom tuner, like me....

 

I have one too. I would suggest downloading the program update from the Preditor site ssnad then getting a LEWTUNE @

No hassle and they say 30 more HSP. You don't need to bother with the logs ect... Lew does it all.
