Default Diablo Sport!!!

Is anyone using the Diablo sport programmer on their Monte? I am really considering it but have not heard much from people that have it. Thanks ahead for any input.

If DiabloSport offered a tuner for the 2007's I would be able to give you some feedback. I got sick of waiting for the release(which seems like it will NEVER happen) so I went with HP Tuners. A place where you can get some feedback on the '06Diablo tuner is Diablo's forum at their website. Most of the feedback sounds positive.

if the diablo is anything like the hypertech i would stay away. for the price you cant beat a laptop based tuner... the hand held ones are very limited.

I used to be of this frame of mind, but it depends what you want to do with your car. The Hypertech and Diablo are WAY overpriced and limited, but they are very easy to use and quick.

The learning curve on using the laptop tuners is at least one month. No instruction manuals or decent how to's exist... or should I say in a step by step proceedure.

I feel not everyone has that much time to devote to their car.

hypertech is crap... no comparison to diablosport predator...

correct that handhelds don't have as much depth as a tuning suite on a laptop, but then again, they won't take you months to figure out and use either - and you won't get yourself in trouble by adjusting the wrong thing, or adjusting something too much...

the predator is excellent... very easy to use... has preset tunes you can just install and go... there are tutorials over at their site on how to tune it further... can get custom tunes created for your vehicle if necessary... here's their GM forum: http://diablosport.com/index.php?nam...forum&f=26

also, excellent LS4 forum over here for other mod info for our cars: http://ls1tech.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=108

From looking at their site it seems they don't support Monte Carlo's at all. It's not an option in the drop down box when picking out a model.

Oh, looks like only 06 MC's are listed...

yes, 06 Monte/Impala SS's and GXP's are supported.. Predator model U7191...

07's are not supported at this point, but supposedly they are workin on it...

but no older Monte's (pre-2006) are supported at all ("for now" is what I hear)...
