98MonteCarlo PS Pump Q
Hi,
New here. Searched but can't find info I need.
98MonteCarlo 3.1L
I have a leaky PS pump shaft seal. I plan to rent a puller and remove pulley and replace seal. How do I remove the seal? (pump still on engine)
If I can't R/R the seal with the pump on the engine, I guess I'll have to R/R the pump with a rebuilt pump. But how do I remove the pump? Do I need to remove the waterpump? Not a lot of wiggle room. With bolts removed, will the PS pump lift straight up? And is there an elec connector I should look for? Can't see anything.
