Post 77 Gas Flow issues

So on my 1977 350 V8 Monte Carlo, I am having issuse with gas in the tank reaching my carb. I have checked the line from the fuel sending unit all the way too the carb, No holes, kinks, or even repairs. I have just put in a new fuel pump and checked the sending unit/ gas tank and i really am not coming up with anything that could be wrong. Anything to put me in a general direction will help, thanks

Is the fuel pump pumping? Sometimes the cam lobe that pushes the pump will wear out. Check the fuel filter. Make sure it's installed the correct way if ti has been changed. Also when my truck did the same type of thing the issue was with the carb. The accelerator pump was shot and the jets were clogged.

Yea the fuel should be pumping, but i know its not reaching the carb because i checked the inside of the gas line while attempting, and right after attempting to start the engine, you can smell it but cant see any of it reaching the top of the metal gas line. But ha i should check the new filter, just to be sure. Thanks, I hope its not the actual cam thats damaged

The cam lobe or even the fuel pump push rod could be worn it's not uncommon the cams from those days were softer.
If it is the cam it's not hard to change out an there's is plenty of cams out there that are inexpensive.
