2006 radio xm ???
My 2006 monte has a factory radio and it has a category button and when i hit it it says xm feature and thats it no radio id. i contacted gm and that was a waste of time. is there any kind of adapter i could use so i can have the xm service through my stock head unit
look in the trunk far right pass side wheel well see if the xm box is there if not is the wiring there and antenna if you have onstar the antenna is in it's antenna. let me what you do have. if you have onstar they can give you the id to.
What model is you car?? I'm not sure, but I think the XM Satellite radio was standard in the SS, but not sure if it was std. in the other models. Check the std, equipment listings in the brochure or somewhere on the "Build your own" site.
As rrobert05 says, it sounds like you may need the XM box to give you the ability to recieve the signal. I would think the radios are the same, but the XM feature has not been provided on yours. I would think the dealer should be able to find out what you need to make it work.
