2003 Monte SS "tune up" question

I thought Dex 6 was fully synthetic?
A while back on some other GM forums I was on. There was debate on Dex 6 going in a Dex 3 system. Some recommended sticking with Dex 3 as the transmission was designed for Dex 3 and not Dex 6. As I think Dex 6 was designed for transmissions with tighter tolerances, but I could be wrong.

The Dex 6 transmissions can't use Dex 3 because they will get hotter with Dex 3 and void the warranty.
And it is only a semi-synthetic.

It's a small valve to the left of your engine under the engine cover. Takes 5 minutes to change.
It stands for Positive Crankcase Ventilation and it vents the crankcase of unburned fuel vapors.

So I am going to do the Plugs, plug wires and a new PCV.
Are there any tips to changing the plugs and wires? I know the rear ones are difficult to get to... I looked for a step-by-step but didn't see anything.
Thanks again! You are all very helpful and I really appreciate the input!!!

You can remove the front dogbones from the engine and while the car is in park you can actually rock the car back and forth and the engine will rock with it. When the engine is leaning forward you can step on the e-brake and it will hold it there.
Instant extra room to work with.

If you set up a garage on autozone.com they have a list of things to do at different millage intervals also they will send you service reminders via email. I cant get into mine right now so I don't remember the exact specifics of it but it is pretty nice.

Did you get the plugs and wires replaced? I did mine for the first time, 2003 MC SS 130,000, this past weekend. One of my least favorite projects to date. Much blood and many tears before the last boot ripped free! :-) Actually no tears but there was some blood spilled. I ended up using a needle nose and pulling on the heat shield on the back three boots.

I dug into it with good intentions this past weekend while I was putting on front brakes and rotars too, but I decided not to proceed. I found someone to do it for me so i'm going that route instead...
But I did find another issue while I was under the hood... I have a fuel injector with a slight leak, and the throttle body gasket also appears to have a slight leak.
So i'm biting the bullet and having the plugs, wires, fuel injector o-ring kit and the throttle body gasket all done by a mechanic. I don't want to mess with anything fuel related.
