Okay i will upload a pic of the hose in question it has what looks ike a black cable that comes out of it and is tied to the firewall (sensor?) and goes into the middle of the hose, but where does this hose attach in the engine bay? to the engine? radiator or what? i cant find a place for it...

 

That looks like the brake booster hose it should attach behind the Upper intake manifold
idk about that cable though, someone here should know

 

I agree with frank it looks like the vacuum assist line for the break booster but i dont know about the cable.

 

it IS the hose for the brake booster, the little line that runs to it is for the vacuum powered air controls inside the car

 

I agree, brake booster vacuum hose. Your car has to run like crap with that hose removed from the manifold. It goes into the rear side of the upper intake manifold, feel around with your finger and you can find where it popped out of.

 

thank you. i have not run the car without it. i just finished replacing the valve cover gaskets and in the rebuild process i have just this that doesnt seem to fit anywhere
