6th Gen ('00-'05): Does ANYONE know what hose this is?!
#1
My first Monte, i need some help.
This is my first Monte, me and my mechanic were replacing the radiator then realized that this tube was missing on my engine. There was just a cut tube and nail inserted to block the hole.
If ANYONE knows the name of the hose so i can go buy a new one and let me know where it connects to. Your help will be appreciated

Thank you :-D I've always come here for random questions and to admire peoples vehicles. Glad to finally become a member.

I can't answer your questions but I can offer this. Mine is an '03 with a 3.4L. I am the original owner and myself and one factory authorized dealer are the only places it has ever been serviced, and the dealer only replaced a fuel injector on two different occasions. All other repairs and maintenance has been done by me.
I popped the hood on mine and found that vacuum port to be blocked with a rubber port cover/plug. Mine does not have cruise control. Maybe yours does but doesn't work? Just a guess.
I hope this helps somehow.

I appreciate it, i thought i was going crazy. Good to see that it's "normal" to have it blocked off.

Also, my port cap is showing signs of dry rot and cracking. Maybe the PO found the same thing and replaced the cracked cap with whatever he had around the house.
