Default I dont know what type of transmission I have

I have a 1974 Monte Carlo with a 400 Turbo-Fire V8 in it. When I go to O'Reiley's, they have the TH-350 and TH-400 transmission gaskets available for my car which both have 13 screw holes but different parts numbers. So, I do not know how to identify what I have other then the tail part, but I have nothing to compare too to differentiate if I have one or the other. Can anybody tell me where to look? Numbers on Tranny, engine, or somewhere on the Vin? Maybe my engine only came with a certain type? I look on google and I get the same result which is nothing that helps.

crawl under and take a look. the 350 pan looks like a square with a diagnal piece cut off the corner the 400 looks like a puzzle piece. the 350 also has a kickdown cable. the 400 doesnt.

Thank You! I need a kick down cable because the transmission needed it so that pretty much answers my question
