Hey John, my pan came in recently too. I'm wondering, can you compare it to the stock pan? I want to know if it holds the same amount of fluid (is it the same depth). I figure you have both pans off at the moment

Nice snag on a Black friday sale, you made a very good buy for a very desirable tranny part. Pretty smart move, I mean with all the effort and top of the line parts your putting in your new tranny, this is cheap insurance. As you well know, heat is our trannys enemy. FYI, When we installed the CarTuning pan extension I believe we used an additional 4 or 5 quarts of Redline D6 fluid. Were also running two Earl's 5x9 tranny fluid coolers as well as the OEM tranny cooler. Good job!!

Sounds good. Inside depth is all I'm looking for (just curious if there will be a fluid fill difference between the two pans).

Depth on stock pan is 20.09mm or .769in and on Zzp pan is 19.17mm or .754in so I'm saying there close enough to be the same amount of fluid

Cool, thanks for checking. It's been a long time since I had a 4t65 pan off the car, I wasn't sure if the ZZP pan was a little shallow or not (the difference you found of about .92mm I don't think will make an issue in the grand scheme of things for me).
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
