The hood and trunk lid and back of the trunk are done. I have a little on the spoiler but I pused a little hard and burnt a little bit of the paint off on the back of the spoiler, You can't see it very well, its not real noticable. The spoiler is hard to get this stuff off of, I have to be more careful because the spoiler is fiberglass and the paint is thin on the spoiler.

I mainly Have theroof stripes to take off, This should be done tomorrow night after work.

Then I am gonna do a little bit of wet sanding to get the yellow residue off to see if the wet sanding works.

If wet sanding works, I will do the hood one day, then the trunk lid another day and then the roof another day, probably will be done next week.

Here is some advice, Try a heat gun to take the stripes off, they should be easily removable, unless you have what I have which is a permanent adhesive and the stripes don't come off easily. Pay a proffessional to take them off and have them repainted.

Do try the heat gun and if they don't just come off, don't go through what I am going through. Its a hundred buck for the rubber pads and adhesive remover and wet sanding materials and its gonna take me like two to three weeks to complete.

Hey at least I have a project to keep busy with, lol

I really liked my stripes, but they cracked and have been falling apart because I wasn't given a high temperature viny stripe kit like I should have been.

I was told if I wanted the stripes off my car (remember, mine were installed incorrectly) to use a heat gun to get them off.

To remove the glue residue they said use Goo-B-Gone.
