Default Vinyl

Okay, so I've decided that I want to put some more vinyl on my car, the only thing is I'm trying to decide between stripes in the Chevy style (1/4" pinstipe around each stripe and none on roof) or if I want to do a more custom type deal to kinda fit with the lines of the Monte. I'm wanting to do reflective black vinyl either way as I want all trim to be black on my car. Whatever it is that I end up doing I will cut it out myself out a sheet of vinyl, I still need to find a few yards tho.

I know that these images are pretty bad, I could have done better but there is no Universal Binary form of Photoshop Elements yet for me to run on my new iMac, so I ended up using a program called pixelmator which is just a demo thus the black splotch and text in the middle of each image.

i think the first shot looks better, it looks like the SS stripes on those monte's... i like the rag you put on the windshield too. i have a friend with a mustang your color... and i think the best thing to od with that color is leave it plain, for some reason other colors just don't take to it that well. maybe you should invest in going faster to outrun the cops

I think the SS style stripes look nice, but if you want to set your car apart from the others, go with your custom design.
I think your second pic is suffering because you had to usethe demo version of a photo editing program. If your second pic had been done with the full version, or photoshop, your custom stripes would look awesome. I especially like the one behind the rear window. I think following the lines on the fenders and quarterpanels is a cool idea. Last year's MOTY followed the fender lines, and it looks great.

Ha, I wish I could, but there isn't that much out there for the 3.9l. I've already got new exhaust on it, but I still need to open up the air intake, thinking about doing a FWI but not sure how...

i talked to a guy at a dyno shop, he said most intakes, teh custom ones, the ones that this forum claims are the best, only pick up 4-6 hp on these V6 engines.... so take that for what its worth.

Yeah, but nobody makes any dyno tuned ones, or any intakes at all for that matter as far as I've heard for the 3.9l.
