Default How to Change the Following Bulbs

I was wondering if those of you who have changed the following bulbs or swapped them out for LEDs could help a brother out! I need to know how to change the license plate light, map lights and dome light! I don't want to just start pulling and snap something off. Thanks for the help!

Ok never done license plate, dome is easy just pull it out. Map lights are a PITA. A ended up wrapping the bulbs in tape breaking them and pulling out bu the flat part with pliers. Good luck.

I haven't done the license plate bulbs, but it should be easy to access and pop out.

the license plate dome is held in by two screws just remove them and slide it out, the dome cover just pops of and the light should pop out fairly easily, and the map lights can be tricky depending on what style mirror you have and how big your fingers are. I switched all my lighting to LED red. just check your local laws if you are doing a color on the license lamp cause certain colors are prohibited.

The license plate bulb is a 194 bulb, and I believe you remove 1 7mm screw and loosen a second 7mm screw and the housing slides back and out. Pretty easy.

I agree, the map lights are a PAIN (no where to get your fingers around the bulbs). I don't recommend it, but I used needle nose pliers to wiggle the darn things out. You could also disconnect the mirror and remove it from the windshield (might make it easier to work with).
