Default interchangeable brake booster?

ok ive been working on my brakes since about 5pm, and i havent been able to fix them. we have tracked down the problem to the brake booster or the master cyl and the MC has been replaced, so im thinkin brake booster. id like to get a used one if i can, so im wondering if one out of another chevy like an s10, fullsize truck, car etc will work as its kinda hard to find people parting out monte's or junked monte's.

thanks. it is actually alot easier to find junk or wrecked camaros and firebirds being parted out around here, so ill have to check it out.

Try ... "Carpart.com"

I'll bet there are tons of them to snag for short money.
I also thing that its a part that would be "Generic" across all the GM Builds.
So, you probably dont need one right out of a Monte. You can get one out of a whatever!

i bought one for my 78 from Napa and it was a rebuilt version but it was cheap and reliabel for several years to come.

Also look in the phoen book in your area for a brake shop and see if they cna tell you if anyone in town dose rebuild them.

there has to be someone some place .

OR
go to one of the monte carlo parts houses like Dixie or others im sure they have them OR maybe tell you what ones fit the right years for your car etc...

Good luck
