I lowered mine 2 inchs with intrax springs and the ride has been great even 5 years after doing it. I also live in NY so I deal with the snow and bumpy roads and its not a big deal.

Lower it you won't regret it.

 

Try streatbeatcustoms.com, they have a bolt on airstrut that will do the job and be easier than doing a custom setup. The only drawback is its really pricey for the front and rear plus tanks, fittings, compressors, etc.
