Default lowering springs that don't affect a good ride?

Gettin kind of bored with the monte lately.. just installed some HID fogs, and picking up some 05 SS 17 inch rims saturday. never owned a lowered car, never even lowered a car. but i know when you do, it usually makes the ride a little more rough, and i love how it rides right now.

is there a kit out there that doesn't affect the ride quality too much?

ZZP offers the HT Motorsports tunable coil/strut package. They start at $1100 and go up from there depending on the strut you choose and whether you want rear sway bar brackets.

http://shop.zzperformance.com/store/...for-Wbody.aspx

I would imagine you could tune it to your ride preference.

I don't think there really is a lowering kit that has a good ride, my gto has a high end kit & rides like crap on rough roads

The link didn't work for me... Are they integrated? Coil & strut combined? Or are they seperate units?... Do you still need anti-pogo, camber off-set and shortenned dogbones?... Curious... Thanks,

Yeah, they redid their site and for some reason the links don't always work when you copy and paste them. Go to their site, select the 3800 platform catalog then the Suspension, Brakes, Handling link. It looks like the kit comes with everything except the shorter dog bones:

•KYB GR2 or AGX struts
•Springs
•Adjuster sleeves & nuts
•Poly spring adaptors
•Roller thrust bearings
•Custom made top plates with poly bushings
•350# front, 275# rear spring rate
•Lighter than standard strut/spring assemblies

Another option would be to order the kit directly from HT Motorsports:

HT Motorsports

Maybe you could inquire with them about ride quality the same time you call for pricing.
