6th Gen ('00-'05): wheel hub
I have a 2004 monte carlo ss and both the abs and traction control lights are both on. I looked at both hubs and on the front left hub where the wires go into it for abs sensor one is dis-attached. What will I have to do to fix this problem.

If you can splice the wire back together (and I would soldier the connection and protect it with heat shrink tubing), odds are you'll be fine again. But if the wire is broken off tight to the hub and nothing there to splice together, you need to replace the entire hub (the ABS sensor on these cars is not replaceable by itself).
The sensor harness unplugs from the sensor - no need to replace the entire hub. Besides, even if you replaced the hub you'd still have a broken sensor wire you couldn't plug into the sensor.
Go to a wrecking yard or the dealer and get a replacement harness for the sensor and splice it onto the existing harness.
