16 is certainly a better winter tire in my experience. I have a ls4 impala that has sock 235 50 18s. I have ran Ls impala / monte 225 60 16 and I think the 16s are much better. And I am always using a all season tire. Not a snow tire.

Wheels are in but not the tires. Maybe Monday.

I thought those "Discount Tire" wheels looked really nice on your car at Nationals so I'm glad to hear you didn't get rid of those.

I got 'em on tonight, along with an alignment. I LIKE them, but NOT the red brakes peeking thru. But they ARE winter wheels, and with the crappy weather everyday, this should've been done earlier. Here they are. TRY to ignore the Michigan dirt and salt!

Neat look, works well for winter I'd say.

Yeah that doesn't look half bad and it's for winter anyway. Put a light bar up on the roof and a spotlight on the driver-side a-pillar and you can roll with the county sheriff.

Another here using winter tires. Last year I put Blizzaks on the Monte with steel rims and plastic hub caps. Best winter tires I have ever used (at least since the studded tires on my 67Dart).

That's about as good of a look you can get for a winter rim / tire combo!
