Exclamation Want to replace drums to disk Brakes Monte Carlo LS

Hi I want to replace drums to disk Brakes I've been told by my local mechanic that I can't do it but yet I seen it on a fifth-generation Monte Carlo Z 34 1998 in my local junk yard
I have a fifth-generation Monte Carlo ls 1998
What would I Have to replace in order to convert it over

Here is a forum link. read down to Bumpim96's comment. Also it appears perhaps the Lumina rear disc brakes will work on your Monte. Could be wrong, but there are articles that allude to that as a conversion option.
