Default To replace or not to replace Fuel Pump Module?

I have a question for you guys, My fuel guage isnt working My car has 245,000 Km's on it I know its the sending unit but would I be better to replace the whole pump with that many Km's or should I just have the sending unit replaced. Im out of work and really tight for money and I would have too get someone to do it for me as Im not comfortable doing it.

When I do go too do it any of you locals that are mechanically Enclined Interested in doing this for me?? If so shoot me a price, I have the compartment to get to it in my trunk behind my rear seats.
Let me know.
