Default Upgrade time (pics)

Well after my Monte developed a pulsation during brakeing, I decided it was time to upgrade the front brakes. $260 later I had some EBC ultimax rotors and Hawk ceramic pads. I also cleaned and painted all 4 calipers while it was apart and flushed out all the old brake fluid.

The goodies

stock top, ultimax bottom

rotor mounted and bracket on

finished product

painted caliper shots

got them from autoanything.com free shipping and they price match.

ALSO. I never knew they offered 6th gen montes without ABS. I have put 15,000 miles on this car and just realized today that it has no ABS. No speed sensors, and the brake lines run straight to the master cylinder.
