Traction Control Shuts off when it's Wet
Hi everyone, maybe some of you have had experience with this but every time its wet out my service traction soon light comes on. I'm assuming the sensor goes off because there is water getting to it as it only happens when it rains. Where are the sensors so I can check and if that is the problem how can I resolve it? Thanks all!

If you ABS light comes on also, you lose traction control and anti-lock brakes.
Traction control finds when one tire slips and the others aren't and it cuts the power to try to even out all the tires.

Mine has been going crazy only when I put the car in gear for those first several moments, and has been doing this since I had the transmission flushed and put the synthetic fluid in it. you have to basically ignore the throttle for about 5 seconds after going into gear, then i'ts fine.

Try this:
Disconnect the front wheel speed sensors connectors from the backside of the wheels. They disconnect easily. spray some WD-40 in them and plug them back together. Repeat the disconnect / connect several times. Blow everything out with an air hose, if you have one. Spray again with WD-40, and re-assemble. Make sure that the wires are not pulling when the wheels are turned. If they are, bend the clips holding the connectors in place until the wires don't pull. That is very important.
I have to do this procedure every year, at least once.
This should help your problem, unless the wires are pulled from the hub, as we just had happen from a mechanic that didn't clip the connector tight, and the wire pulled loose from the hub. He also messed with the brakes on another vehicle we had, and wanted almost $1,000 for a brake job I did for $200. I haven't been to a mechanic since.
