Default Sway Bar End links ... Replaced, Torque ?

Hello, just replaced my sway bar end links with high quality end links from another Monte Frum member.... They didn't come with specs on how much to torque them up..... I tightened them as far as I thought they should be, but I hear a "Knock" in the front end every now n then when hitting bumps, or the front end is "unloading"... I am 99% sure it's the Seay Bar end links as this is all I changed before the knock started... I did however replace my front struts last night , but it happened before that... Any help would be great..... Also, the car rides like new, or darn near. But is there any other immediate maintenance bushings or ? That should be replaced ? I just want everything to be perfect.... Thanks a ton... Mjclemm...

I've always tightened the end links until the feel tight or the nut has no more travel.

If you are still getting knocks, check that your sway bra has no cracked in it, the sway bar bushings (holds the sway bar to the cradle) are still good. Next check your control arm bushings and the various ball joints.

Hi, thanks for the reply.. I re tightened the end links and I tinged them until the nut bottomed out. As far as the "Knock" goes, I checked the sway bar and it looks great... Bushings look good , but I'm gonna replace them anyway, just to be sure. It almost sounds as if something is not tightened or something to that effect. It's a sudden clunk as soon as it unloads or hits a bump, bugs me big time... Also, I took the struts back out and made sure they are installed correctly and all looks great... I'm stumped !.. Thanks....gonna keep on checking...mjclemm...
